The Sigmundhof

The Sigmundhof is a newly refurbished, land-marked farm, and as such has a historic past. Since many years, the direct male descendants of the Rabensteiner family manage the farm. Our mountain farm is located at 800 m above sea level, in the centre of the small village of Pinzago, right above Bressanone.

In 1960, the historical part of the farm (snuggery, vaults in the basement and in the corridors) was declared a national monument. It is particularly important to us to maintain these treasures of a bygone time.
The Sigmundhof was renovated in 1977 and, more recently, in 2007.

The Sigmundhof includes approximately 11 hectares of cultivated land, 1 hectare of vineyard and 14 hectares of forest – it is, with its 35 Brown Swiss, a typical medium-sized farm in South Tyrol.

Spacious parking lot available

Our energy source is the sun, and we heat with biomass from our private forest (wood chip system).
